What does a logo design project involve?

No matter the size of your business or organisation, the development of a strong, memorable logo that represents your brand will help you to reach your target audience much more effectively, and communicate your commercial value to the world. A logo project would typically include:

  • Logo research and briefing: understanding your target audiences and vision
  • Logo design: files packaged and provided in various formats
  • Brand style tile: development of a 1 – 2-page PDF that shows logo variations, colour palette and typography information
  • Logo submark: usually used as favicon for web or as a watermark on branded documents
  • Trees planted on your behalf: with our trusted suppliers at Fifteen Trees

Your logo should be a core element of your overall brand identity. But your visual brand assets should not be limited to a logo on its own. Depending on your budget you may wish to start with a logo and then build on this down the track with, for example, business stationery, social media assets, marketing collateral, or a full branding suite.

What does a full branding project involve?

A full branding package will provide a much more comprehensive suite of brand assets than a logo. Within a branding project we could accommodate some or all of the following deliverables:

  • Logo (as per above)
  • Business stationery: business cards and letterheads, envelopes, “with compliments” slips, presentation folders, pens and other promo items
  • Brand graphical assets: secondary brand imagery and a general visual language in the form of illustrations, vector graphics and an image library
  • Social media assets: avatar and banner images for Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
  • Full brand/style guidelines: creation of comprehensive brand guidelines document including;
    • Audiences and brand strategy
    • Communication style, tone of voice and key messages
    • Logo, visual asset, font and colour style guide
    • Editorial conventions
    • Implementation/rollout plan
  • Marketing collateral: digital or printed materials to aid with the sales of a product or service such as brochures, pamphlets, promotional flyers
  • Company branded apparel and merchandise
  • Presentation templates: typically our clients ask for a template with various layouts for use across the organisation. We can use your preferred presentation software e.g. Powerpoint, InDesign, Prezi, Keynote, etc.
  • Shop signage and vehicle graphics
  • and so much more!
