Conscious Cravings Co.

Conscious Cravings Co. is an organic food company and vegan cafe.

Established in 2015, Conscious Cravings Co. specialise in making handcrafted raw, vegan treats that are produced on the Mornington Peninsula, near Melbourne, where their locally renowned cafe is also situated.

The brief

Conscious Cravings Co. needed a strong brand to help sell their mouthwatering artisan desserts. They contacted us to work on their branding, primarily a special but simple logo that could be used across signage, packaging stamps, loyalty cards and other items.

The brief was to design something appealing to their Mornington Peninsula target audience of health and environment-conscious foodies. We came up with a minimal icon design that is a clever combination of an apple – to represent the organic food concept; and a love heart – to represent the love and care that goes into creating food that is good for the planet.

We also designed a series of variations of the main logo with a range of taglines that can be used depending on context, along with a circle version of the logo that can be stamped onto coffee cups and other packaging. The business has been a huge success!

Conscious Cravings Co.’s desserts are raw, vegan, refined sugar free, gluten free, organic, soy and agave free. Health and wellbeing is at the core of their business model.

Our sustainability strategy

Our sustainability strategy for Conscious Cravings Co. was simple. Support their mission to source high quality, organic or pesticide-free ingredients and also local produce where possible and provide them with a vehicle to do that through strong branding.
