How we helped

We’ve supported Oktopi to translate their next-gen technology, products and vision into clear, cohesive visual communications across different touchpoints. This has included designing digital and print assets that communicate complex ideas in an accessible way to partners, investors and other key audiences.

Our work with Oktopi has included:

  • UX strategy and website design
  • Webflow development
  • Custom iconography
  • Product screen visuals
  • Web animation
  • Product marketing video design and production
  • Marketing flyer design and eco-printing
  • Conference poster design and printing
  • Ongoing website updates and marketing support

Since launching Phase One of the website, we’ve continued to support Oktopi as the company has grown. The new website has played an important role in strengthening Oktopi’s external communications, supporting new partnerships and helping position the company for funding from the Gates Foundation to continue its work in the medicine development sector.

What makes them ethical

Oktopi’s mission to democratize medicine development reflects a commitment to making specialist knowledge, structured workflows, decision-support tools, and the infrastructure needed to bring medicines to market more accessible across the global health sector. By helping pharma, biotech, and research teams collaborate more effectively and make better-informed decisions, Oktopi is working to reduce barriers in medicine development and support more equitable pathways for healthcare innovation.

Their work aligns with ethical design principles by using technology to improve access, reduce inefficiencies, and support better outcomes across the medicine development ecosystem, including access to the infrastructure needed to bring medicines to market.

Our sustainability strategy

Our work with Oktopi has taken a digital-first approach, with the website, product video and supporting visual assets designed to be flexible and reusable across multiple communication channels. The Webflow website was built with modular components and an easy-to-manage CMS so Oktopi can continue to update and expand its content over time, reducing the need for repeated design and development work. Our design and development work is also undertaken from home studios powered by solar energy, helping reduce reliance on grid electricity.

Where printed collateral was required, we kept formats concise and selected more sustainable production options where possible. Oktopi’s 2-page A4 flyer was eco-printed on 100% recycled EcoStar stock at our local print hub, with a digital PDF version also created for online sharing to help reduce unnecessary print volume. The carbon emissions associated with our design and print work are offset through EDCo.’s tree-planting program with Fifteen Trees.

We had the pleasure of working with Sonja, Caitlin, Luke and Jacqui on developing our website. They made the process very straightforward, adhering to timelines and cost. We are very happy with the end result and would not hesitate to recommend them to others wanting a dynamic website. What a talented team! – Michelle Raynor, Co-Founder & COO at Oktopi™
